Eula C. Hallman
Eula C. Hallman, 85, of Poulsbo died on April 24 at Harbor House at Liberty Shores. She was born on Sept. 1, 1922, in Date, S.D., to Roll and Grace (McClain) Tescher. She attended and graduated from Sorum High School in Sorum, S.D., and Black Hills Business College in Rapid City, S.D. She married Clifford Hallman on Oct. 12, 1946.
She worked as a personnel clerk for Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and retired from Keyport Subase in 1978.
Hallman was a member of the Elks Travel & Fun Club and several bowling leagues. Her hobbies included bowling, knitting, vegetable gardening, razor claming, and RV traveling. She was a Mariners fan and enjoyed watching a good game.
Preceding her in death are her parents; husband; brothers: Gerald, Lee, John, Rolland and James; sisters: Barbara and Thelma.
Hallman is survived by her daughter, Laurel Hallman (Ward Durham) of Poulsbo, brother, Irwin Tescher (Betty Jean) of Bison, S.D., and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service takes place at 1 p.m. May 8 at the Poulsbo Mortuary. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Kitsap County, PO Box 3416, Silverdale, WA 98383.
