Evelyn Lindstrom, 94

Evelyn Lindstrom of Poulsbo died May 21, 2004. She was 94.

She was born to Gabriel and Hulda Nygaard in Page, N.D. on Sept. 20, 1909.

Lindstrom married Art Fenning in Minnesota and, after he died in an accident, she married Lloyd Lindstrom in 1950.

She attended school in Lavern, N.D,

Lindstrom was full-time mother and farmer’s wife before she worked as a nurse’s aid at Martha & Mary in Poulsbo for 15 years.

She enjoyed reading, gardening and her grandchildren and was a member of First Lutheran Church in Poulsbo.

Lindstrom is survived by son Warren Fearing; daughters Doris Pederson, Arlene Russell, Viola Jenkins, Helen Held, Sharon Wagner and Ruthann Skelley; 39 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands Art Fenning and Lloyd Lindstrom; daughter Gladys Tinsley; sisters Florence Jarret, Francis Fearing and Doris Anderson.

A visitation will be held at 1 p.m. May 27 at First Lutheran Church in Poulsbo with services following at 2 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Martha & Mary or First Lutheran Church.
