Schulze, 87
Former Bainbridge Island and Poulsbo resident Felicia M. Schulze died Dec. 21, 2006 in Grand Haven, Mich. She was 87.
Schulze was born to Abram and Mary (Ferris) Gullie in Troy, N.Y. on Oct. 18, 1919.
She graduated from Catholic Central High School in 1936 and Troy Business School in New York.
She worked many years for the New York State Police in Center Brunswick, N.Y. until her retirement in 1976.
She enjoyed painting and books and was an avid reader, who kept the library at both Liberty Shore and Montclair Park retirement homes.
Schulze is survived by sons Anthony (Margaret) Iozzo of Arvada, Colo. and Robert (Nancy) Schulze of Grand Haven, Mich.; daughters Mary Lynn (Lonnie) Smaaladen of Poulsbo, Judith (Ken) Woods of Courtenay, B.C. and Barbara (Darren) Stott of Windsor, Colo.; brother Robert Gullie of Saratoga, N.Y.; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Schulze was preceded in death by her husbands Anthony Iozzo in 1945 and Walter C. Schulze in 1973.
A memorial service will be held in Troy, N.Y. at a later date.
