Frances E. Wark, 92

Frances Elizabeth Croft Wark died April 14, 2005 in Poulsbo. She was 92.

Wark was born in Berwick, Penn. on Jan. 14, 1913 to Gertrude and Clyde Croft. She had been a medical technologist, graduating from a program at Hahneman Medical College in Philadelphia, and at age 45, became a licensed practical nurse. Most of her life, she worked alongside her late husband, Allen, in the dairy business in Berwick and Sunbury, Penn.

She loved all animals and flowers, and especially enjoyed having her family around her.

Wark is survived by her son-in-law Marvin Krasnansky; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Wehner, her second husband, Allen R. Wark, and her only child, Josie Krasnansky.

A memorial service for Frances and her daughter Josie will be held at 11 a.m. April 23 at Bethany Lutheran Church on Bainbridge Island.
