Geronimo Fejarang

Geronimo Camacho Fejarang, 86, a resident of Port Orchard, died Jan. 11, 2004, at Harrison Memorial Hospital. He was born on Sept. 23, 1917, in Santa Cruz, Hagatna, Guam to Joaquin Concepcion and Crutina Borja (Camacho) Fejarang.

He married Rita Quintanilla (Benavente) in 1936 in Hagatna.

He attended Guam High School in Hagatna. He worked for the civil service Navy public works center in Piti, Guam, as a heavy equipment operator for 37 years. He retired in 1985.

He enjoyed farming, fishing and he raised livestock. He was a Roman Catholic.

He is survived by his sons Thomas and wife Darlene Fitzgerald of Washington and Charles and Song Yol Ozment of Guam; daughters Bobbie F. Delgado of Guam and Cristina A. Ozment of Washington; sisters Clementina F. Weaver of Florida and Dolores F. Salas of Guam; and 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Jesus Borja Camacho and Benigno C. Fejarang.

Visitation was held on Jan. 16, 2004, at Rill Chapel. Rosary was held at 5571 Nelson Road, Olalla at 8 p.m. from Jan. 11 to Jan. 20, 2004. A funeral will be held in Guam.

Arrangements were handled by Rill Chapel’s Life Tribute Center.
