Idar Slothaug, 70, of Kingston, passed away on December 10, 2020. Born on July 28, 1950, in Alesund, Norway, Idar went on to graduate from Ingraham High School in Seattle.
Idar married his high school sweetheart, Linda Malysh, in 1970. For over 40 years Idar was a local contractor and home builder. Idar was a long time volunteer firefighter and for 12 years served as fire commissioner for North Kitsap Fire & Rescue.
Idar’s memory will live on with his loving wife of 50 years, Linda; son, Kristopher (Aliana); daughter, Noellani Karry (Brad); brothers, Henry, Kory, and Gunnar Slothaug; and two grandchildren, Sophie and Eli Karry.
