Iona M. “Onie” Studach died Oct. 22, 2003 at her residence in Hansville after a prolonged illness. She was 81.
Studach was born to Floyd L. and Anna D. (Madison) Jones in Clarks, Neb. on Nov. 5, 1921.
She married Leo C. Studach on Jan. 31, 1943 in Corvallis, Ore.
Studach graduated from Corvallis High School in Corvallis, Ore.
She owned the Point No Point Beach Resort in Hansville for 14 years and was also a homemaker.
Studach enjoyed cooking, fishing and traveling to Cancun and Mazatlan, Mexico. She was a Catholic.
Studach is survived by her husband Leo C. Studach of Hansville; son Dan C. (Denise) Studach of Hansville; daughter Diane (Mitch) Jones of Poulsbo; brother Floyd L. Jones of Hansville; sister Shirley Russell of Tacoma; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A private inurnment service will be held in Hansville at a later date.
