Iver Erickson, 97

Iver Erickson of Hansville died March 26, 2005 at the home of his birth in Hansville. He was 97.

Erickson was born to Matt and Hilda (Carlson) Erickson in Hansville on March 3, 1908.

He attended Hansville Grade School.

Erickson worked as the operator of Erickson Brothers Farm in Hansville for 60 years.

He enjoyed watching golf on television in his later years and was one of the last Hansville pioneers.

Erickson is survived by his nephew Gary Erickson of Hansville, niece Lucille Duncan of Forks and seven great-nieces and great-nephews.

A graveside service is scheduled for 1 p.m. April 2 at the Hansville Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of The Stone Chapel at Cherry Grove in Poulsbo.
