Iver Iverson, 86
Iver Iverson of Poulsbo died Feb. 28, 2007 in Bremerton. He was 86.
Iverson was born to Torvald and Oline Iverson in Molde, Norway on June 18, 1920.
He married Molly Munoz on May 7, 1948 in Port Angeles.
He graduated from Union High School in 1940.
Iverson served in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1942-44. He worked as a longshoreman for 26 years.
He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and the senior bowling league and Sunday drives.
Iverson is survived by his sons Russell Iverson of Bremerton and Robert (Sherlyn) Iverson of Fox Island; daughter Jennifer (Dave Henson) Iverson of Poulsbo; sisters Tordis Rasmussen of Poulsbo and Delores (Vernon) Ulvang of Puyallup; and three grandchildren.
Iverson was preceded in death by his wife Molly Iverson and sister Carrie Helstad.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. on March 8 at the Stone Chapel in Poulsbo.
