James Nardo was born on Feb. 14, 1928, in Manteca, California to Vincent and Frances Nardo. He grew up in Southern California and attended Dorsey High School.

James had a love for music, especially blues and jazz. He gave Jesus, his Lord, the glory for all his accomplishments in life.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Frances Nardo; and his wife of 56 years, Carmen. He leaves behind his son, Jim Jr., his wife Ann; sister, Joann Marsh, her husband Bruce; nephews, Chris, David, and Kevin; niece Susan; six grandchildren; and numerous extended family members.
