Jerome Stanton Thompson of Poulsbo died May 23. He was 80.

He was born on Oct. 28, 1928.

He graduated from Central Kitsap High School in 1947 and served in the U.S. Army from 1950-52. He graduated from Bremerton Business College, worked for Lent’s and retired from Domsea Farms. He was loved by everyone.

Thompson was married in 1951 to Beverly Lemm. He is survived by his wife and three children, Terri Campbell, Scott Thompson and Julie Bickhart. He has five grandchildren, Naomi Ware, Seth Campbell, Ian Campbell, David Gunn and Kaiden Thompson; and one great-grandson, James Gardner.

There will be a celebration of his life from 1-4 p.m. July 25 at 28826 Falkner Road. NE in Poulsbo.
