Joann Kelsey, 89

Joann Kelsey of Bremerton died Nov. 3, 2005 in Bremerton. She was 89.

Kelsey was born to Joseph J. and Temperance Elizabeth Gist in Roswell, N.M. on April 26, 1916.

She married Glenn Kelsey in Yakima in 1939.

She attended business college in Yakima and was an office manager of an auto insurance company in Silverdale for many years.

Kelsey was a member of the Eastern Star and enjoyed sewing, crocheting and gardening.

She is survived by her foster son Daniel Lupson of Anchorage, Alaska; a granddaughter; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Kelsey was preceded in death by her husband Glenn Kelsey.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Nov. 12 at the Lewis Funeral Chapel in Bremerton.
