John Fritsch
October 16, 1955 – October 2, 2015
John Fritsch 59 of Poulsbo passed away October 2, 2015.
John was a kind-hearted, genuine person who always found a way to stay positive and have a good laugh. He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life; fishing, camping, and spending time with family and friends. John also had a creative side and spent a lot of time carving and sculpting incredible pieces of art. If you were with John, you were always in good company as he was full of adventure stories from the many years he spent sailing on ships as Chief Engineer. Although he was taken from this world too early, John will live on in the hearts and minds of those who loved him. A man like John is impossible to forget.
He was preceded in death by his father Albert (Marlene) Fritsch and baby brother James.
He is survived by his spouse Monica; children Austin and Natalie; mother Bonnie (Ken) Shedd; sister Deb Haskett; step siblings Kathy (Gary) Fugere, Jim (Lena) Shedd, Bonnie (Rich) Lalicker, Sue Martin, Melanie (Mike) Jackson and Christina Peterson.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015 from 1:00-4:00, at the Hood Canal Vista Pavilion in Port Gamble.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. http://www.lls.org/
