John H. Lund, 90

John H. Lund of Ocean Shores died March 29, 2007 in Bainbridge Island. He was 90.

Lund was born to John S. and Hilda Lund in Seattle on June 5, 1916.

He married Agnes “Sue” Lund in 1938.

He worked as a supervisor for Greyhound bus transportation.

He enjoyed gardening, fishing and clam digging. He was a member of the Independent Order of the Foresters and Galilean Lutheran Church in Ocean Shores.

Lund is survived by sons John Lund, Jr. of Anchorage, Alaska and Dallas Lund of Kingston; seven grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

Lund was preceded in death by his wife Agnes Lund, brother Svere Lund, and sister Johanna Snook.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. April 28, 2007 at Galilean Lutheran Church, 824 Ocean Shores, Ocean Shores, Wash. A reception will follow at his home.
