June Babette Eriksen died Sept. 7, 2007, after a stroke. She was 59.
Mrs. Eriksen was born on June 17, 1948, in Bremerton to Lyell and Viola (Larkin) Grant. She grew up in Boise, Idaho, graduating from Capital High School in 1966.
For many years, Mrs. Eriksen lived in Jackpot, Nev., working for Cactus Pete’s Casino as a dealer. In 1990, she married Chris Eriksen, residing in Paul, Idaho before moving to Sequim. She drove a school bus in Paul and most recently for the Olympic Christian School.
She was preceded in death by her infant daughter Wendy; father Lyell; stepfather Lewis (Andy) Anderson; and brother Edgar Henry Anderson.
Survivors include her husband Chris; mother Viola Hubbell of Sequim; her daughter Cary Trautman; and grandsons Austin Trautman and Ezra Roseholt of Centralia; stepson Jon Eriksen of Battle Ground; brothers Fred (Loretta) Grant of Sequim and Bill (Melvina) Grant of Boise; nieces Deana (John) McIntyre, Joy (Jim) Headley and Allison (Will) Sukert of Sequim.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at Sequim Valley Foursquare Church, 990 Old Olympic Highway. Arrangements by Curnow Funeral Home in Sumner.
