KINGSTON — Kathleen Potosnak passed away on Feb. 21. She was 58.

Kathleen was born on June 4, 1957, the daughter of Charles and Margaret Potosnak of New Jersey.

She graduated in 1979 from Gettysburg College, magna cum laude, with a degree in psychology. Kathleen received her Ph.D in engineering psychology in 1983 from Johns Hopkins University.

Kathleen worked as a consultant in California and then moved to Seattle in 1990 and started a computer software development business.

Kathleen’s love of the sea kept her living along the coastline.

She is survived by her father, Charles Potosnak; a brother; three sisters; and her beloved dog, Nitro.
