Kenneth D. Morrison of Poulsbo died June 24. He was 89.

Morrison was born May 12, 1921 in Grants Pass, Ore., to Donald R. and Irene (Gerould) Morrison. He served in the Navy from 1942-1945. He worked for United Airlines for 43 years and ended his career as a captain. He was preceded in death by his son, Don, and brothers Lloyd, Max and Gerry. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ruth Morrison; son, Jay (Lisa); daughters, Charlotte Morrison, Andrea (Aaron) Sharp; daughter-in-law, Charlotte Lazar-Morrison; and six grandchildren.
