Kristine M. Yenne, 46

Dr. Kristine Marie Yenne died April 28, 2006 in Rougemont, N.C. She was 46.

Yenne was born in Seattle on Dec. 11, 1959 and spent her early years on Bainbridge Island.

She married Brian Privette in 2003.

Yenne graduated from North Seattle Community College, Washington State University and the University of Georgia School of Veterinary Medicine.

She worked as a veterinarian at the Fallbrook and Belmont racetracks and the Flat River Veterinary Hospital in Rougemont, N.C.

She loved animals, especially horses, and also enjoyed her garden, especially her rose beds.

Yenne is survived by husband Brian Privette of Rougemont, N.C., brother Stephano (Gwen) Fremonti of Cottage Grove, Ore., sisters Barbara (Amir) Rasaie of Redmond, Constance Yenne of Bainbridge Island and Linda Pendleton of Westminster, Md., parents Gene and Anne (Fassett) Cook of Poulsbo and George and Beverly Yenne of Paradise, Calif.; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and a nephew.

Yenne was preceded in death by her brother Gerald V. Cook.

A celebration of Yenne’s life will be held at 3 p.m. May 21 at Bethany Lutheran Church on Bainbridge Island.
