Former Keyport resident Lenore Gustafson went to be with the Lord July 20, 2007 in Escondindito, Calif.

She was born in Keyport in 1923.

Gustafson graduated from North Kitsap High School in 1941 and as a youngster attended and assisted at Keyport Bible Church. She continued to serve the Lord as her husband pastored Scandia Bible Church, as well as churches in Fort Dick, Calif., Vancouver and Gold Beach, Ore.

She is survived by her husband, Ray, daughters Janice (Skip) Garmo and Connie (Don) Smiley; son Raymond (Janet) Gustafson; sisters Gloria Hulst of Tacoma and Rose May Finrow of Oak Harbor; and five grandchildren.

She will be missed by her many friends and family.
