LeRoy Belshee of Poulsbo died Nov. 30, 2007 in Poulsbo. He was 95.
Belshee was born to Roy and Jennie Belshee in Wasco, Ore. on Jan. 13, 1912.
He married Gladys Lawson on Dec. 3, 1938.
Belshee graduated from Wasco High School in 1930.
He worked as a cabinet maker, construction worker, carpenter, in farming, as a real property appraiser, right of way agent for Oregon’s Department of Transportation and he opened his own appraisal company working as a fee appraiser until retiring in 1984.
Belshee enjoyed music and played the saxophone in the Home Town Band and the Guys and Gals Combo. He was a member of Christ Memorial Church, and played in the orchestra there.
Belshee is survived by his wife Gladys; daughters Jeanette Reitz of Vancouver, Wash. and Delores Bagley of Seattle; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held on Dec. 3 at Martha & Mary.
