Lois Robinson, 81
Lois Joy Robinson of Kingston died Jan. 25 with her loving husband by her side. She was 81.
Robinson was born to Mildred and Morgan Hostetteron Jan. 6, 1927, in Pomona, Calif.
She was a loving wife to Ralph Robinson for 62 years. They were married in Yuma, Ariz., December 12, 1945.
Robinson graduated from Flintridge Academy in Pasadena, Calif., and was a successful real estate broker.
She was also a gifted artist, quilter and avid bridge player. She shared many of her beautiful quilts with her family and friends.
Robinson was the devoted and loving mother of Timothy Robinson, Grass Valley, Calif.; Roger Robinson, Medford, Ore.; Suzanne Carlisle, Cupertino, Calif.; Anita Yesland, Bainbridge Island; and Scott Robinson, Sequim. She found great joy in her eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her sister, Marlene Stelling, Monrovia, Calif.; and brother, Bruce Hostetter, Fullerton, Calif. She was preceded in death by her sister, Thelma Cooke, Covina, Calif.. She will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held in the spring. In Robinson’s memory, the family asks others to find the beauty in nature, as she did, and to be kind to one another.
