Lucile Freda McKay

Lucile Freda McKay died Oct 5. 2003. She was 85.

McKay was born to Walter and Freda Hubbell in Cheney on Nov. 23, 1917.

She was married to William McKay for 64 years.

McKay graduated from Wilbur High School in 1935 as class valedictorian.

She was an active volunteer for Campfire and the Wallingford Community Senior Center. She enjoyed needlepoint, sewing, quilting, ceramics and rug hooking.

McKay is survived by her daughters Kathleen Ouma and Willeen (Doug) Klan; one grandchild; and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband William McKay and daughter Patricia Follett.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Oct. 30 at the Norse Home Retirement Center, 5311 Phinney Ave. N., Seattle, (206) 781-7400.
