Lucille V. Shaffer, 82
Kingston resident Lucille V. Shaffer died Oct. 12, 2004 in Kingston. She was 82.
Shaffer was born to Alex and Esther (Mortinson) Erickson in Kansas City, Mo. on Oct. 22, 1921.
Shaffer married Milton L. Shaffer on Aug. 30, 1947 in Detroit, Mich.
She graduated from high school and was a homemaker.
Shaffer enjoyed cooking and gardening. She was an avid reader. After retirement, she and Milton enjoyed traveling around the U.S. in their RV.
She was a Lutheran.
Shaffer is survived by her husband Milton L. Shaffer of Kingston; son Paul Shaffer of Kingston; daughter Sue Shaffer of Kingston; and sister Lolita Emerson of Grand Junction, Colo.
She was preceded in death by her parents Alex and Esther (Mortinson) Erickson; and three sisters.
A memorial will be held at 1 p.m. Oct. 23 at The Stone Chapel. She will be cremated. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of The Stone Chapel at Cherry Grove, 22272 Foss Road NE, Poulsbo.
