Luigi Ferrari died May 22, 2009. The Port Orchard resident was 43.
He was born on July 24, 1965. He was the owner and incredible baker of Luigi’s Baking in Bremerton. He was a true Renaissance man. His passion and enthusiasm for baking, gardening, cooking, soap making, writing, art and community involvement was evident in the depth and breadth of his knowledge and his commitment to sharing that knowledge with others. He was a student of life and a teacher of love.
Survivors include his wife, Stacy “Amber” R. Maxwell; parents, Catherine Ferrari and Antonio Ferrari; daughters, Branden Lindsey (Joshua) Hamilton and Amber Lynn Ferrari; brother, Joseph (Carolyn) Ferrari; grandchildren, Destiny, Adam and Grace Hamilton; cousins, Sue, Gianni, Lorena, Loretta and Chiarina Ferrari, and Don Paul and Gena Chiodo; his uncles, Giuseppe and Paul Ferrari, and Donald Lee Chiodo; aunts Giuseppina, Filomena and Franca Ferrari, and Joyce Chiodo; and many, many wonderful friends, customers.
A memorial service is scheduled for 3 p.m. tomorrow, Saturday, June 6 at Miller-Woodlawn in Bremerton. Memorial donations can be made to the farmers market of your choice.
