Former North Kitsap Resident Johnny Lund of Edmonds died Sept. 1, 2003 in Seattle. He was 54.

He was born to Gilbert J. and Bernice L. (Andersen) Lund in Bremerton on March 8, 1949.

Lund attended North Kitsap High School in Poulsbo.

He worked as a logger, on Foss Tug Boats in Alaska and was a commercial fisherman.

Lund is survived by his brother Raymond Lund of Suquamish; sisters Debbie Lund of Hansville, Darlene Zimmer of Kingston and Karen Bumgardner of Oregon.

He was preceded in death by his parents Gilbert J. and Bernice L. (Andersen) Lund.

A private gathering will be held at a later date. He will be cremated at the Cherry Grove Crematory. The funeral home is Stone Chapel at Cherry Grove.
