Lynn lost her long battle with M.S. (multiple sclerosis) and aftereffects of COVID-19.
Always known for her quick smile and loving caring way, Lynn loved life, God, animals, music, family, friends and Restore Church.
Lynn grew up on a small Poulsbo farm and graduated from North Kitsap High School in 1995. She joined and served six years in the National Guard, where Lynn also played her flute in their band. Lynn was a C.N.A. in a nursing home for many years and loved the elderly. Wanting to be an R.N., Lynn was taking courses at Olympic College; the M.S. became too much.
Lynn married Richard Dormaier in 2002. Rich preceded her in death in 2013.
Lynn is survived by her mother Karen Powell, father Denny, and second mom Michelle Lambert, brother Dave (Shawna) Lambert, a nephew and niece, and Aunt Corky. Uncles and aunts Rick and Merideth, Darrell and Gail and families.
Heartfelt thanks and praise to the staff at Martha and Mary Nursing Home for the loving care Lynn received. And gratitude to Seattle’s Swedish M.S. staff and Dr. Bowen. Honoring Lynn, continued medical studies have been done with M.S. and COVID-19.
An outdoor memorial will be on the farm. Join us on Saturday, May 1st from 1:00pm-3:00pm.
