Magline Nina Raley, 78, of Silverdale passed away on April 28, 2022, from natural causes.
Maggie was born in Duffield, Virginia, on May 8, 1943, to Luke and Nancy Lamb, as one of nine children. She resigned as an FBI fingerprint technician when she married James R. Raley in 1963.
As a young Navy family, they were sent to bases in Jacksonville, Florida, Puerto Rico and Rhode Island before settling down in Goose Creek, South Carolina. In 1984, Jim and Maggie moved across the country to a new home in Silverdale. Maggie enjoyed attending local live music shows, collecting glass art and paintings, and meeting people. She also worked retail part-time at J.C. Penney and loved working with jewelry.
Maggie was preceded in death by her son Ronald Raley, her husband James Raley, a brother Jimmy Lamb, and her sisters Anna, Bernice and Almira.
She is survived by her son Michael Raley of Poulsbo, sisters Pauline Williams, Jean Denison and Shirley Stapelton, her brother David Lamb, and two granddaughters Vannessa and Daisy Raley.
A memorial will be announced at a later time.
