Margaret L. Ferch of Silverdale died July 9, 2004 at Martha and Mary Health Services in Poulsbo. She was 98.

Ferch, a lifelong housewife and loving mother of Marilyn Drengson of Silverdale and Judith Wingard of Enterprise, Ore., was born April 11, 1906 to John and Anna (Ornau) Baldauf in Wahpeton, N.D. She married Clifford Ferch on Aug. 12, 1930.

Ferch enjoyed her flower and vegetable gardening, baking and sharing with family and neighbors. A volunteer with the American Cancer Soicety, she also was a member of Star of the Sea Catholic Church.

She is survived by her daughters and was preceeded in death by her husband, three sisters and two daughters.

She was buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Bremerton. Arrangements by Lewis Funeral Chapel. Memorial donations can be sent to St. Vincent DePaul, 1137 Callow N., Bremerton, WA 98312, or a charity of choice.
