Marian L. Poff of Suquamish died Jan. 9, 2008 in Poulsbo. She was 88.
Poff was born in Deer Park on April 17, 1919.
She married Gordon G. Poff on July 31, 1942, in California.
Poff graduated from University of Washington with a bachelor’s in music and art.
She worked as the original owner of Hickory Hut restaurant in Magnolia and an office manager.
Poff enjoyed knitting, cross-stitch and collecting stamps and coins. She was active in the Poulsbo Yacht Club, as well as serving in the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and teaching boating safety classes in Poulsbo.
Poff is survived by her son Dixon (Jeanne) Poff of Coulee City; daughter Karla (Eric) Koths of Poulsbo; brother Paul (Mary Jane) Bermey of Whittier, Calif.; sister Jane (Virgil) Peterson of Mercer Island; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Poff was preceded in death by her husband Gordon.
