Marilyn A. Steinberg, died Aug. 3 at The Messenger House on Bainbridge Island. She was 72.

She was born on July 11, 1938, in Denver. She was a home health care nurse in North Kitsap for many years.

She loved to travel and working with children at Bible study.

She was preceded in death by her son Richard Rucker.

She is survived by her son Larry (Angie) Rucker of Gig Harbor; three grandchildren: Tina, Kyle and Kristy Rucker; and sister Carol Alger. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Aug. 10 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church on Bainbridge Island.
