Long-time X-ray technician Marjorie Ruth Osborn Keesy died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006, in Seattle. She had lived in Gig Harbor for the past 15 years but worked locally for Dr. Grant Parson in Bremerton, at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, the Public Health Hospital in Seattle and for Group Health in Tacoma.

Mrs. Keesy was born June 8, 1921, in Campbell, Neb., to Martha (Leinart) and Fred Osborn. She received her nurses training in Nebraska.

Mrs. Keesy is survived by: her son, Joe Smith; daughter, Jamie Scott; sister Bonnie Rawlins; five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, at Lewis Chapel in Bremerton, followed by a private burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Online memorial available at www.lewischapel.com.
