Marlin L. George, Sr. of Poulsbo died Jan. 8, 2008. He was 54.
George was born to Robert and June George in Bremerton on Dec. 21, 1953.
He married Roberta Reed in Poulsbo.
George worked as a commercial fisherman and fireworks expert.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was an avid sportsman.
George is survived by his wife Roberta George of Poulsbo; sons Marlin George Jr. and Duran George both of Poulsbo; daughters Skylene George, Serene George and Shellene (Nicholas) Kurtz all of Poulsbo; stepsons Jeremy Blodgett and Michael Blodgett and Jason Blynn; brothers Bradley George and Raymond George of Poulsbo; sister Georgia George of Poulsbo; parents Robert and June George of Poulsbo and Suquamish; and grandchildren Bearon, K.T., Popeh, Jade, Bobby Rae, Christopher, Shaylene, Shilene, Anikaleesh and Jasmine.
Arrangements are being handled by The Stone Chapel Poulsbo Mortuary.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Jan. 13 at the Suquamish Tribal Center and burial will be at the Suquamish Cemetery.
Memorial gifts may be sent to the Suquamish Youth Center.
