Martha King, 79

Martha “Mattie” King died on June 7, 2005 in Kingston surrounded by her family. She was 79.

She was born on April 21, 1926 in Seattle.

King married S. Vernon King in 1943.

She enjoyed cooking, gardening, dancing and playing piano and spending time with her family. She was the mother of eight children.

King is survived by her husband S. Vernon King of Kingston; daughters Christine Griffith, Debra Pakinas, Tammi Schrock and Terri Beuhler; brother Foster Harrison; sister Peggy Judd; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. June 11 at Bayside Community Church in Kingston. Interment will follow at the Kingston Cemetery.
