Mary Elizabeth Jaderholm, 88
Mary Elizabeth Jaderholm of Poulsbo died March 12, 2004 in Poulsbo. She was 88.
Jaderholm married John A. Jaderholm on Oct. 22, 1948 in Seattle.
She graduated from Barker High School in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1932, Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn. in 1936 and then from the University of Washington in Seattle in 1964.
Jaderholm worked as a teacher of the deaf for the Seattle Public Schools until her retirement.
She enjoyed writing short stories, traveling, sailing with her husband and entertaining her friends and grandchildren.
Jaderholm is survived by her sons Erick R. Jaderholm of Poulsbo and James A. Jaderholm of Moses Lake; brothers Richard M. Ellis of Lake Shoecraft and William D. Ellis of Seattle; and 12 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by Louise Merrill.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. March 20 at the LDS Chapel at 2138 Mesford St. in Poulsbo.
