Mary Jane Bartos, 91

Mary Jane Bartos of Poulsbo died Jan. 17, 2007 in Bremerton. She was 91.

Bartos was born to William and Ella (Lundmark) McLain in International Falls, Minn. on March 14, 1915.

She married Bob Bartos on June 26, 1933 in St. Paul, Minn.She graduated from West High School in Minneapolis, Minn. in 1933 and attended Virginia Junior College in Virginia, Minn.

She was a lifelong homemaker, who enjoyed showing, breeding and handling Scottish terriers. She was a member of the Washington State Scottish Terrier Club and the Washington State Cocker Club.

She enjoyed cooking, gardening, dancing and spending time with her grandchildren.

Bartos is survived by her husband Bob Bartos of Poulsbo; son Michael Bartos; daughters Mary Jo (Fritz) Palermo and Judith C. (Conrad) Green; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Jan. 24 at Rill’s Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, and funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Jan. 25 at the same location. Burial will be Jan. 26 in Bellevue.
