Mary C. Spray

February 27, 1929 – January 17, 2016

Mary C. Spray, 86, of Poulsbo, passed away on Jan. 17, 2016. She was born on Feb. 27, 1929 in St. Paul, Minn., to William and Elizabeth Brown. She was a graduate of Villa Maria Academy in Frontenac, Minn.

Mary married Roger Spray on Sept. 15, 1951 in St. Paul. She worked as an administrative assistant at Keyport for 15 years. She was a lifetime member of the Poulsbo Sons of Norway and enjoyed painting, knitting, flower arranging, and volunteering at the Sons of Norway.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years and her sister Patricia Lindner. She is survived by her children, Vicky, Laura and Roger Spray, all of Poulsbo; grandchildren, Kara (Gavin) Rogers of Port Townsend and Cameron Spray of Seattle; great-grandsons, Treigan and Rylan of Port Townsend.

Graveside service is scheduled at 11 a.m. Jan. 26 at Poulsbo City Cemetery, 20002 Caldart Ave. NE, Poulsbo. A celebration of life will follow from 1-4 p.m. at the Sons of Norway, 18891 Front St NE.
