Mary Vansickle, 82

Mary Catherine (Sullivan) Vansickle of Poulsbo died May 15, 2007 in Bremerton. She was 82.

Vansickle was born to Walter and Emma Jane Sullivan on Jan. 4, 1925.

She married Claude E. Vansickle on Dec. 11, 1943 in Mendenhall, Miss.

She graduated from Mt. Olive High School in Mt. Olive, Miss.

She was a long-time business owner in Kitsap County.

She enjoyed gardening, knitting and crocheting. She was also an avid Seattle Supersonics and Mariners fan.

Vansickle is survived by her son Danny (Eugenia) Vansickle of Poulsbo; sister Lucille Albritton of Hattiesburg, Miss.; and a granddaughter.

Vansickle was preceded in death by her husband Claude E. Vansickle and eight brothers and sisters.
