Merrilee A. Striker, 52
Former Poulsbo resident Merrilee Ann Striker died Aug. 2, 2006 in Edmonds. She was 52.
Striker was born to Vernon and Bernice Swanson in Bremerton on Dec. 29, 1953.
She met her husband Richard, when they were both in ninth grade at North Kitsap High School and were married during their senior year at Washington State University.
She worked as a real estate agent in the Seattle area and was listed as a “five-star real estate agent” by Seattle Magazine.
She enjoyed painting, hiking and photography. She was also crowned Miss Poulsbo in 1971.
Striker is survived by her husband Richard; and daughters Shannah and Christine.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Aug. 11 at Beck’s Funeral Home in Edmonds, followed by a reception at Edmonds Yacht Club.
