Michael O. Sorensen, 47

Michael Owen Sorensen of Suquamish died Nov. 10, 2003. He was 47.

Sorensen was born to Phillip and Elaine (Tichacek) Sorensen in Bremerton on Sept. 19, 1956.

He married Catherine Jean Hoenig on Nov. 11, 1978 in Bremerton.

Sorensen graduated from North Kitsap High School in 1974 and then from Olympic College in 1976. He worked as a senior technical support specialist at Medtronic Physio-Control for 25 years.

He enjoyed wood working, furniture building and music.

Sorensen is survived by his wife Catherine Jean (Hoenig) Sorensen of Suquamish; daughters Geneva Grace Sorensen of Austin, Texas and Kristen Joy Sorensen of Suquamish; brother Dave Sorensen of Bellingham; parents Phillip and Elaine (Tichacek) Sorensen of Poulsbo; and grandmother Julia Sorensen of Bremerton.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Nov. 18 at Keyport Bible Church.
