Milton Edward Meyer, Jr., born Nov. 18, 1925, in San Francisco to Milton Edward Meyer and Emerita Meyer, died Sept. 25, 2017, in Poulsbo, Washington.
He lived a long, happy life, serving four years in the Merchant Marine and working as a draftsman after attending college in San Francisco. He married Sheila Gragg in 1948. They lived mostly in California where he was often project manager on various construction projects. Their marriage of 27 years produced five wonderful sons.
In 1979, he moved to Seattle, where he met Shirley Gilbert. They were married in 1982. During their 35 happy years of marriage they had many travels, and Milt continued his lifelong passion of collecting books and stamps.
He will be missed by his sons and by Shirley and her daughters. An intimate memorial will be held later.
