Nathan Keliher, 26, died Aug. 21 in Colorado Springs, Colo.
He was born on June 18, 1983 in Seattle.
Nathan had a keen sense of humor. He enjoyed video games, movies, reading, writing, philosophy, watching baseball, swimming and hiking.
He valued his family. Nathan was particularly close to his uncles, whose video stores he worked at for many years. He graduated from North Kitsap High School in 2001.
Nathan is survived by his parents Shannon and Paul Russell; his siblings Irene, Myrna, Leo, and Oliver; his grandmothers Geraldine Smith-Paramore and Betsy Keliher; numerous aunts and uncles; his godmother Joan McCarron; and 34 cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers John K. Smith and George Keliher.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at 4 p.m. Aug. 31 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 1310 Madison Ave North, Bainbridge Island. The Recitation of the Rosary follows at 6 p.m.
The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 6 p.m. Sept. 1, also at the church. Interment will be private. A reception will follow at the Church Conger Hall.
