Neil D. Settle, 42
Neil Douglas Settle of Seabeck died Oct. 14, 2005 in Wrangell, Alaska. He was 42.
Settle was born to Thomas and Sally (Loken) Settle in Bremerton on Dec. 2, 1962.
He married Penny Jean Denham in 1999 in Seabeck.
He attended school in North Kitsap and Tumwater.
Settle was the owner and skipper of “Elizabeth Nicole.” He was a 25-year veteran of the dive fisheries industry in southeastern Alaska and Washington. He was also the treasurer of the Southeast Alaska Regional Fisheries Association.
He enjoyed baseball, music and loved his family.
Settle is survived by wife Penny Settle of Seabeck; daughters Chloe and Caitlin Settle of Seabeck; brother James G. (Brook) Settle of Coquille, Ore., Gregory T. (Annette) of Olympia and Vernon W. (Laura) Settle of Loveland, Colo.; father Thomas (Billie Jo) Settle of Poulsbo and mother Sally Loken of Port Townsend.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Oct. 20 at Vinland Lutheran Church in Poulsbo.
