Ole Michael Johnson, born on July 25th, 1951, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, passed away on January 1st, 2024, in Port Townsend, WA.
Ole’s life unfolded with its own set of challenges and triumphs. Known for his incredible intelligence, he had a talent for fixing anything and had a deep love for the outdoors, particularly enjoying fishing. Ole was also passionate about computers and ham radio. For most of his adult years, he called Bainbridge Island home and had many friends throughout Kitsap County.
He is survived by his brother Steve Johnson; his sister Kristine Elliott; daughters Mandy Johnson and Raven (and son-in-law Tony Vasquez); his granddaughters Gianna Vasquez and Izzy Nichols; niece Sandee Elliott; nieces Katrina Johnson and Corryn Johnson; nephew Christopher Johnson; his closest friend Bill Boyd; and many other dear friends.
Ole was preceded in death by his father, Orin Milton Johnson, and mother, Lois A Johnson (née Wolf).
A celebration of Ole’s life will be held on March 16th at 3:30 pm at Suquamish United Church of Christ, 18732 Division Ave NE, Suquamish, WA 98392.
