Orbin ‘Bill’ Wright, 79
Orbin “Bill” Wright of Kingston died March 10, 2004 in Kingston. He was 79.
Wright was born to Tom and Rachel (Sprayberry) Wright on April 22, 1924 in Saragosa, Ala.
He married Aloha Morilla on April 6, 1945 in Seattle.
Wright served in the U.S. Navy from 1941-1946 and later worked for Wright Motors in Renton. He was also an auto machinist at Gene Meyers in Renton. He moved to Kingston in 1978 and retired in 1986.
Wright enjoyed history, traveling with his wife across the United States in the couple’s RV and being with his grandchildren.
He was a Boy Scout leader in Renton, a volunteer in Renton and Kingston and past Asst. State Director for the Good Sams RV Club.
Wright is survived by his wife Aloha Wright of Kingston; sons Steven (Linda) Wright of Woodinville and John (Toni) Wright of North Bend; daughters Willa (Larry) Strong of Graham and Maxine (Camroc) Fischer of Renton; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great- grandchild.
Wright was preceded in death by his son David; daughter Geri Taylor; brothers David, William, Wilber and Charles; and sisters Velma, Lilly and Ruth.
A memorial reception will be held at 2 p.m. March 28 at the Kingston Community Center.
