Oscar L. Ekstedt of Keyport died Feb. 11, 2004 in Poulsbo. He was 91.

Ekstedt was born to Joseph and Randena Ekstedt in Keyport.

He married Marjorie Ekstedt on Sept. 12, 1949 in Bremerton.

Ekstedt worked at the torpedo station at Keyport.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and barbershop singing.

Ekstedt is survived by son Luis (Andrea) of Lakewood; daughters Dorathy (Douglas) of Poulsbo and Tina (Rich) of Poulsbo; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Marjorie Ekstedt and two sisters.

Burial has already taken place at Miller-Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bremerton. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Feb. 19 at Keyport Bible Church.
