Loving husband and father Patrick Leonard Swanson died at his home Dec. 29, 2007. The Bremerton resident was 47. He will be sorely missed.

Mr. Swanson was born in Riverton Heights, Wash. on Dec. 31, 1959 to Arlan and Patricia (Whitlock) Swanson.

He graduated from Central Kitsap High School with the class of 1978 and from Washington State University in 1983 with a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy.

On Jan. 29, 1983, he married Vena J. Allen in Bremerton. Mr. Swanson attended Crosby Chapel. A third-generation pharmacist, he enjoyed life and took pleasure in everything, especially spending time with his family, playing guitar, fishing and hunting.

Mr. Swanson was preceded in death by his mother Patricia, stepmother Patsy Swanson and his father-in-law Lewie Allen.

He is survived by his loving wife Vena; father Arlan of Bremerton; son Christopher of Seattle; daughters Nikki of Bremerton and Dawn of Everett; brothers Robert Swanson, Dr. C. Andrew (Sue) Swanson, David (Melody) Swanson; and mother-in-law Elaine Allen of Bremerton.

A memorial service will be at Crosby Chapel at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12. The service is open to all who would like to attend. Inurnment will take place at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements by Lewis Funeral Chapel.
