Delores M. Popp, 78

Delores M. Popp of Hansville died Oct. 25, 2007 in Poulsbo. She was 78.

Popp was born to Herman and Lydia (Lempia) Roponen in Ely, Minn. on July 13, 1929.

She married Dellwood Popp on Oct. 4, 1947.

Popp worked as a bus driver for the Kent School District for 20 years. She and Dellwood moved to Hansville in 1994 to be closer to the fish.

She enjoyed Hawaii, traveling on cruise ships, fishing and spending time with family and friends.

Popp is survived by her sons Jeff (Patty) Popp of Bellingham and John (Kriss) Popp of Port Townsend; daughter Lexie Jorgensen of Hansville; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Popp was preceded in death by her husband Dellwood Popp and her brother.

Services will be held at 1:15 p.m. on Nov. 1 at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent.
