Raymond Topasna Baleto died Aug. 16, 2006 in Bremerton. He was 39 years old.
He was born March 10, 1967 in Guam to Rita (Topasna) Baleto and Vicente Mendiola. He married Lucinda (Cruz) Baleto on April 20, 2005 in Bremerton.
Mr. Baleto graduated from Bremerton High School in 1986. He worked as a hazardous explosives driver and while in Guam he played drums in a number of bands including L.I.U., Paire, Napu and Compadres. He enjoyed camping and spending time with his family.
Mr. Baleto is survived by his wife of the family home; daughters Kirida, Celine, Mariah and Raelynn, all of Bremerton; brothers Frankie (Maryann) Baleto of Arkansas, Greg (Jana) Baleto of Bremerton and Vince Baleto of Guam; sisters June (Thomas) Bird of Gig Harbor, Annie (Rick) Slagle of Texas, Rose (Sherri) Baleto of Missouri, Mary (Tony) Baleto of Bremerton and Josephine Baleto of Bremerton; parents-in-law Johnny and Cecila Cruz of Guam; and in-laws John (Cindy) Cruz, Joseph Cruz, Justin Cruz and Tomasa Grecia, Peter (Jackie) Topasna, Joseph (Laura) Topasna, Lawrence Reyes, Greg Babin, Eddie Acfalle, Freddie (Annie) Aguon, Patsy (Frankie) Sablan, Dee (Tony) Hechenova, Annie (Joey) Cruz, Maria (Narciscio) Edralin, Fran Escanlar and George Topasna.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Joseph and Anthony Baleto.
A funeral mass is scheduled for Aug. 23, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with a viewing beginning at 11 a.m. Inurnment will be in Guam.
