Richard L. Wynn, 78
Richard Lee Wynn of Poulsbo died May 13, 2004 in Poulsbo. He was 78.
Wynn was born to Cecil Hay and Hattie Bell (Case) Wynn in Vinita, Okla. on Nov. 1, 1926.
He married Florence K. King in 1947 in Caldwell, Idaho.
Wynn attended school in Vinita, Okla.
He served in the U.S. Army-Air Force from 1945-1947, achieving the rank of corporal. He was a World War II veteran.
Wynn worked as a mechanical foreman at Keyport for 37 years until his retirement in 1982.
He was a 4-H leader, involved in the Kitsap County Fair, president of the Silver Spurs for two terms, Superintendent of the Kitsap County Fair and farmed and raised flowers for 20 years after his retirement.
Wynn is survived by his wife Florence K. (King) Wynn of Poulsbo; son Duane Lee Wynn of Seattle; daughters Virginia Foss and Charlotte Wynn, both of Kingston; brother John (Doloris) Wynn of Anacortes; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents Cecil Hay and Hattie Bell (Case) Wynn.
