Robert F. Waffle, 75

Robert F. Waffle of Poulsbo died in Bremerton on Feb. 17, 2004. He was 75.

Waffle was born to Floyd and Ethel (Hazelton) Waffle in Rome, N.Y. on March 3, 1928.

He married Betty Jean Albrecht in East Hamilton, N.Y. on Jan. 12, 1950.

Waffle graduated from Hamilton High School in Hamilton, N.Y. in 1947.

He worked in auto body repair for 10 years at Chrysler and for 17 years in the parts department for General Motors in Gainsville, Texas before returning to work at the parts department at Chrysler in Norwich, N.Y. He later worked as a grocery clerk at the Lake Hills Market in Bellevue and Poulsbo Market in Poulsbo.

He enjoyed spending time with his family.

Waffle is survived by his wife Betty J. Waffle of Poulsbo; son Gary (Paula) Waffle of Phoenix, Ariz.; daughters Kathryn (Dick) Myers of Schuylkill Haven, Pa. and Joan (Rick) Conrad of Bainbridge Island; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A private ceremony will be held Feb. 21 with cremation arrangements being handled by The Stone Chapel in Poulsbo.
